WHEN I USE BIDULE REWIRE NO BIDULE 1 IN MIDI DEVICES PATCH
processing, making sampler foddeer, playing live, (worked on a patch for a while that i just had a starting place. has it been that long?Īnyway - i have used it for just about everything at one time or another. It's easy to turn a computer into a pretty intense DSP box with audiomulch. not necessarily a "how do i use it with my modular" answer but is still generally how i use it.
WHEN I USE BIDULE REWIRE NO BIDULE 1 IN MIDI DEVICES LICENSE
I haven't tried loading Bidule as a VST yet, as it can't be used without a license for the standalone version, and getting this to work is the main reason for using Bidule, since I already have a licensed copy of Cantibile, which works quite well but isn't Rewire-able.I copied and pasted this from another forum/thread from a few days back. Sonar sees Bidule as a Rewire Device and when inserted, creates either 8 Synth Tracks or 16 MIDI Tracks, but NOT the 2 audio tracks described by the online help/documentation. When I start Bidule I get a message "Waiting for Rewire Master Application to start audio processing" and it just hangs there. Neither the Propellorhead Blog nor the Bidule Forum have anything to say on the subject, and every online example uses Reason. Being new to both Bidule and Rewire, I'm not at all sure how that works. I'm using Bidule as a live performance VST Host and thought that if I Rewired it into Sonar (Platinum) that I could bring the audio into Sonar for recording. I can imagine playing piano live with a second person 'conducting' the midi orchestra. I can control it's playback tempo in realtime by tapping a qwerty keayboard. One interesting feature of Notion5 is the Ntempo. Notion can send up to 32 channels of audio via rewire. However, I am not sure if there are different articulation available in the orchestra sounds. The bundled sounds that came with Notion5 are quite good. First step that I missed initially was to enable rewire inside Notion first. Back to the Rewire topic, I had tried rewire notion5 into X3 and it works. I can't use Miroslav Philharmonik either way. So Notion5 and Ikmultimedia doesn't seem to work together at least for now.
WHEN I USE BIDULE REWIRE NO BIDULE 1 IN MIDI DEVICES 32 BIT
To add insult yo injury, the 32 bit version of Notion5 wouldn't load Miroslav Philharmonik vst. The mac users are having a party ( just a figure of speech). A visit to presonus forum revealed that this is a windows only problem. Sample Tank3 can't load samples in Notion5.
WHEN I USE BIDULE REWIRE NO BIDULE 1 IN MIDI DEVICES HOW TO
Now hopefully I can understand the tutorial you provided and learn how to use it. I found a 64bit version in my Waves folder and copied it and now rewire is no longer greyed out. If one of these is the 64-bit 1.8.4 version, try copying it into C:\Program Files\Common Files\Propellerhead Software\ReWire, re-boot, and maybe Sonar will see it. Or, try this: I searched on ReWire.dll and eventually, found a bunch of ReWire.dll files sprinkled all over my computer.in the Live 9 Suite Redist folder, C:\Windows\SysWOW64, C:\Program Files\Common Files\Propellerhead Software\ReWire, ProgramFiles\Waves\ReWire, Samplitude, Sony Acid, etc. Perhaps doing a minimal Sonar re-install will give you the 64-bit dll.
WHEN I USE BIDULE REWIRE NO BIDULE 1 IN MIDI DEVICES DOWNLOAD
I can't find a download either, so at this point I'm grasping at straws and maybe someone else will have an idea of what to do.I think maybe the 64-bit version should have been installed with Sonar. I'm going to guess that's where Sonar looks for it, because you don't have it and Sonar can't ReWire. On my computer a 64-bit version is in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Propellerhead Software\ReWire\ReWire.dll. I'm assuming when I installed X3 64bit that the 64bit rewire would be installed to but apparently not. I think the 64bit version gets installed by Reason. Studio One finds Waves and Melodyne rewire when it loads and like I mentioned I used to see Waves rewire in Sonar. I cannot find a 64bit version of the rewire.dll on Propellerhead website. The link you provided contains version 1.7 and tells me when I run the installer that I already have a newer version of the file.
In c:\program files\common files\Propellerheadsoftware\rewire is empty but there is another folder called Rex with a Rex Shared Library.dll file in it. This file version is 1.0 dated 2-17-14 and I assume this is a 32bit version.
I found rewire.dll in c:\program files(86)\common files\Propellerheadsoftware\rewire. Anderton Mosvalve Rewire is greyed out in Sonar.
